After a scare against Zhao Xintong, Ding Junhui safely booked his place in the last 16 to play Ryan Day.

Also in the last 16 is Shaun Murphy who has been strugling for form this season hes up against Kyren Wilson the Paul Hunter Classic Champion.

Form Man Mark Allen is also there and will be up against Scotland's own Graeme Dott.

Along with Dott Scotland will be represented by 147 Man John Higgins up against Alfie Burden.

Saying he's savinf the 1000 centuries for a Eurosport tournament, and if ES tells him they want him to do it in a specific match, he'll do it... also said he didnt like some of the fans shouting out at the UK Final, and that spurred him on even more after he missed a black off its spot, he really really wanted to win badly..

Just a guess. Only reason Ronnie commentating here is he doesnt want to sit in the studio with Murphy after the match (should Murphy win).
