Ronnie is handing Gilbert chances on a plate. He’s going to have to cut out those silly mistakes if he’s to stand a chance against an in form Selby.

Ash is the finest poster in Snooker Island history, a genius who can make commenting look preposterously easy. At his best, he is simply the best.

Sorry to ask a basic question, but is the 128 draw totally random or is there an element of 'seeding' involved?

I genuinely don't know but am aware that big names rarely meet in round one if ever

Should be a good match with Selbo.
Selbo goes favourite given what he's done in this tournament, but hopefully ROS can beat him.

Ronnie finished Gilbert off, 5-2. He will need to improve a bit if he is to beat Selby.

Ronnie V Sleby then. Ronnie's not been flying so it's going to be tough for Ronnie tomorrow.

Selby's only favourite because Ronnie's played so much. If Ronnie was a bit fresher I'd be confident in him winning. Now, not so much. But who knows, he might have a bit of energy left.
