I call myself a Social democrat or Middle-Left man but the left has lost the plot in recent years.

They're rather busy with things like extreme feminism and stuff like that instead of solving the real problems of the working-class people and care for their concerns.

No doubt there is racism and sexism out there and its very important to strictly oppose that but you have to be capable to differentiate between real racism and objective critism against migration policy or whatever.

If you don't do that the consecuence is that those people and your own potential voters start voting for right wing and even racist parties. We see that everywhere in Europe atm.

I do agree with some of the Metoo movement, but other things seem a bit too much feminism... like what Serena Williams did in the US Open final which was nonsense from a cry baby with a ref simply applying the rules.

The sense of entitlement that grasshole Williams showed was disgusting. She's a right pain in the swissrole and i agree the liberal left and PC Brigade are constantly looking for someone to ridicule.

Fully agree. Williams is a disgrace and has been for quite a while now.

I agree with all of you (though I think calling her a disgrace is maybe a bit far).

Serena was petulant and entitled. Her coach admitted to giving coaching her and yet she denied it (and continues to!). She then smashed her racquet (a violation) and called the umpire "a liar and a thief" (a violation for wuesioning the integrity of the umpire. I also think she was being unbelievably cynical by saying "I'm a mother and I stand for what's right for her" knowing that the microphones would pick it up and ensure the crowd was on her side. She then had the audacity to tell the umpire "You owe me an apology" and later "I told you to apologise to me" as if he owed it to her. He didn't, he was enforcing the rules.

I don't doubt that there is sexism throughout tennis. There's sexism throughout all aspects of society. And I'm sure female players are given violations for arguing more easily than male players at times. But Ramos is a notoriously strict umpire (who's given plenty of violations to top male players) and her actions were so clear-cut that it's not really arguable.

She also managed to upstage a fantastic performance by Osaka and bring the post-match attention onto herself.

I've never liked her and find it hard to believe she's so revered in the US.

Whether she is likable or not is up for debate. however what isn't up for debate is the fact that she's the best female tennis player of all time.

I no longer use ATMs if I see dodgy looking Romanians milling about nearby, which is quite often near where I live.

I think people have lost sight of what true leftism is supposed to be about, which is social equality and fighting for working class, as you pointed out.

It seems to have been taken over by liberalism and identity politics.

London. Did you know in terms of population, London is actually the third largest Romanian city in the world.

Ha i know your a cockney my san. That fact does not shock me. Londan Town is a mega metropolis. One of the Worlds great cities where you will find people from every country on earth. Romanian gangs are rampant over there.

I consider myself to be pretty far left wing socially if not politically (i.e I'm not a communist or stringent socialist or anything) and I am 100% behind the #metoo movement. But even I have been shocked by the widespread support for Williams.

Regarding the left wing causing the right wing uprisings, I think that's bullocks personally. What's causes that is xenophobic hysteria following terrorist attacks and economic uncertainty, stoked by the right wing, combined with social progression being resisted by the privileged who stand to lose out from it.

How anyone can look at the US political system over the last two years and think, "Yeah, the right wing is the sane arm of politics" is beyond me, particularly after the Kavanaugh hearing fiasco.

A similar but unrelated fact (but I quite like it):

Argentina is by some estimates the third-highest Welsh speaking country in the world.

Donald Trump (no relation to the Ace in the Pack) has called Stormy Daniels 'Horseface' yesterday to which she replied 'ok the gloves are off, tiny'. What a world we live in.

Great quality and fast match this.

I dont really like Trump, but these two are two of the most entertaining players on tour.

Time to get rid of Theresa May and bring in someone with a backbone who can negotiate properly.

yes. very good point. If you'd ask someone to explain or define left wing politics these days, he'd probably say things like gay rights, hardcore feminism and stuff like that.

I'm not saying those things are worth nothing but its important to know what you stand for and why people actually vote for you. And thats like you say is fighting for working class and for social equality.

I wish we could have another Brexit vote now we've seen how badly it's been bungked by the government.

Obviously it won't happen and I don't necessarily think it should... but I'd be interested to see if it came out with the same result. I doubt it.

Hopefully not Londons answer to Donald Trump, the one and only Boris Johnson.
