"Bond won the first frame by default, most likely because McGill showed up late"
Bit careless.

Always seems really unprofessional when that happens.

Michaela Tabb is in the front row. She's wearing a bikini.

Craig Steadman seems to be giving Selby a good match.

Why on earth they CAN'T JUST GIVE TICKETS AWAY FREE OR A COMPETITION OR LOWER THE PRICES OR SOMETHING don't the Chinese have a huge ethos about saving face? And yet they'll run a tournament that's beamed around the world with one man and his phone in the front row. I know this is tired old ground I just can't beleive Hearn doesn't do something about it. I'm sure he's tried.
TWITTER ATTACK
Neil Robertson @nr147 Very fortunate having played in front of packed crowds every match for the last 3 months. This week the players get to feel like footballers being forced to play behind closed doors. I love China but the players hate the crowd/ticket price situation that prevents people watching

He's playing great. Potted some great ones and plays an attacking game.

A year ago, I'd have been convinced he'd Selbied, even if the match went close.
Now, not so sure.

I forgot these were best of 11.
I thought Bingham had won 5-0, and he's still playing.

Steadman is ranked nr. 92. He's playing like he's top 16.

On their day, most tour players can play high-quality stuff. The difference is often consistency.
It's quite possible he'll play rubbish next match.

Let's see if Steadman can complete the job or if he'll bottle it.

Did he start playing at 6am our time?
That's quite a long time to take, if they only played six frames.

That frame penalty doesn't seem to have hindered Anthony McGill at all.
