Indian Open Heldover and Last 64 !!

Wednesday 27th of February ~ Sunday 3rd of March at The Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, Kerala, India

Posponed Since september following the Kerala floods the Indian Open gets underway at last. The Qualifying Rounds of the event took place in August thats 6 months ago that was just after Mark Williams won the World Open thats like a lifetime ago.

John Higgins who is the defending Champion was spared Qualifying so he will start his campaign in Kerala.

Both Neil Robertson and Mark Allen withdrew as did Xiao Guodong.

Players left in and joining John Higgins in Kerala includes Shaun Murphy, Stuart Bingham, Luca Brecel, Jack Lisowski, David Gilbert and Jimmy Robertson.

Who will reach the last 32?

Back Then All Qualifiers were held in the summer so most players season consisted of sweating in more ways than one for 3 months June to August

Thats why you got players who qualified who got there with no form at all.

The seeded players would then beat them quite esily, walkovers back then.

Thepchaiya Un-Nooh will play Michael Holt again on Thursday this time over a massive distance of best of 7 they will proberbly need a rest after 2 frames.

If the frame goes longer than ten minutes, they might need a rest after one.

Maybe it's time Hearn implemented mid-frame intervals.

That's weird, because I can't see it on my work computer. I knew there was an issue with mobile viewing, but I've never had this problem before when I've been at work. :chin:
