Not really a huge shock to me since Murphy had quite a few losses in the last 64 and last 128 stages last season with the really good tournaments he had. Maybe he's finding it hard to get up for these kind of matches against lower ranked opponents? Mei Xi Wen is no slouch either to be fair.
