Good fight in Wakelin, but not enough at the end.
Dale and McManus at 4-3 now.

I'd assumed that's how he got the job.
These wildcards are getting out of hand...

Yeah, yeah. But what about the really important questions.
Are Eurosport showing that Bud Light advert that ITV 4 had?

Wakelin scored 7 half centuries in losing 5-4. but not 1 of them was over 70 not even 60.
it just shows at this level you have to win frames at 1 visit or you will be pegged back.

Especially against the likes of Higgins or Selby. They will kill you if you dont win those frames in one visit and break down at 50.

If Ronnie wins his first match (which isnt garanteed especially this being China) he'll play Perry next.
And then either Hawkins or Michael White. So yeah, like Vodka said the other day, I can see him losing to any of those here.

He will be playing at 1.30am British time stil very much jet lagged and then play the other match at 11.30am the same day.
it would be some achievement if Ronnie isnt out of the tournament Tomorrow.
But if he can servive he could easily win it.

yeah fully agree. Tomorrow a big day to see how jet lagged he really is. If he goes out early then so be it, but this tournament offers big prize money.
But we cant expect much with him just coming from the UK. we saw how tired Selby was at the CoC.

Been watching Luca vs Stevens, and Luca has been pretty average (anyone knows if he is still using his broken cue,the one that was left behind in China or one of his newly delivered maximus cues?)
But boy, Stevens is like 10% of the player he once was, sad to see, he cant string a decent break together. He was my 2nd fav player after ROS, until Luca came on the tour. Will drop of the tour this or next season I think. :(
Luca won 5-0 btw

You cant make this up, Luca picked up wrong identical case with the same passcode from airport to his hotel! He is using the shoes he found in the suitcase, nothing else fit, how unlucky!

That explains this tweet.
World Snooker @WorldSnooker1No clothes? No problem.
Straight off the plane in Shanghai (and wearing borrowed gear), Luca Brecel gets down to completing a whitewash victory over Matthew Stevens! [5-0] #ShanghaiMasters
World Snooker's version made it sound a bit porno.
That, and Stevens still can't win a match.
