You cant make this up, Luca picked up wrong identical case with the same passcode from airport to his hotel! He is using the shoes he found in the suitcase, nothing else fit, how unlucky!
Good job Shaun Murphy weren't there. He'd have called the tournament director over, and demanded Brecel play naked.

Not anymore.
Could go to a decider after being 4-1 down.

Incredible how far Stevens has fallen. Can't believe a Steve Peters impersonator couldn't at least get him competitive again. He's won the masters and UK and been in World finals FFS!
QSM wrote:Been watching Luca vs Stevens, and Luca has been pretty average (anyone knows if he is still using his broken cue,the one that was left behind in China or one of his newly delivered maximus cues?)
But boy, Stevens is like 10% of the player he once was, sad to see, he cant string a decent break together. He was my 2nd fav player after ROS, until Luca came on the tour. Will drop of the tour this or next season I think. :(
Luca won 5-0 btw

Stevens has never been the same player after 2005 unfortunately. And that defeat in the 2007 quarterfinals (again to Murphy) when he'd choked after a 12:7 lead and lost 12:13 was the final icing on the cake.
that was the start of his decline and he's never been the same since. Shame really because he had all the talent.

Only match on Wednesday morning you mean.
Ronnie was due to play on Tuesday in the evening (11:30 a.m UK Time), but because of his CoC campaign they moved his match to Wednesday.
Which means he'll have to play 2 matches tomorrow should he win his first.

Thanks 4 the info. If he beats Gary (normally he will, but he might be tired), he has a tough match against Joe Perry. And after that, he could face the likes of Mark Williams and Slowby. He has a tough draw.

Even before those, if he beat Perry he has Michael White or Hawkins, two players more than capable of beating him too.

True. Let's hope he has a deep run here, it would be nice for him to win some more ranking points.

Hopefully Ronnie will beat Kif Kroker today. If not, no problem. NI and UK are just around the corner.

When Ronnie loses in China it's no big deal because I always expect him to have poor runs there, and most of the times he proves me right lol...
