This is why it would be great to have a comp in the USA to have snooker on at this time

Ronnie takes the first frame.
Great 68 clearance after Wilson missed on 48.

strange safety from ROS there. But Wilson missed again.

missed red and Wilson clears up, otherwise Ronnie would lead 3-0 by now.
Could prove decisive, we'll see... for now, despite that miss, Ronnie looking in good form.

Ronnie leads 3-1.
If not for that missed red in frame 3 this could have been 4-0.

WoW!
Ronnie makes a brilliant total clearance of 144
highest break of tournament.
There was a funny moment, he was on for a 147, but on 40 odd had to take the easy pink isntead of the black, despite the chinese desparate for him to take the black.
Ronnie hasn't missed a long pot yet, deadly in this match.

Played like a idiot in the next frame, missed chance after chance to win 5-1 gifted Wilson one back, another mighty choke perhaps?

5:2
and good, the match is over now. for a moment I thought we would see a repeat of that match he had against King in Germany.
But from 0:0 to 4:1 was good to watch and impressive, considering all the circumstances.

Ronnie wins 5-2.
Apart from that poor 6th frame, Ron played pretty well all match. That 144 total clearance was special.
Didn't miss a long pot entire match, impressive.
His next opponent isn't any easier, Perry.

Was worth staying up to watch Ronnie in good form.
I fully agree with what Wild said yesterday... under the circumstances, jet lag and all, if Ronnie can come through this day and book a place in the Last 16 then who knows...
