For a player of his calibre to have only won 1 TC event, and that was way back in 2011 at the UK, is very very poor.
So yes, maybe he just isn't as good or consistent as he might have been. I'm still thinking about the ridiculous comments he made when Ronnie took a year off and Higgins wasnt play well, and Trump saying it was his time to dominate the game.

The only two players who have dominated these type of events in recent years are Ronnie and Selby. Ronnie in particular has won at least one since 2012.
