With all the Last 32 matches completed, it's the Last 16, with player of the season thus far Ronnie O'Sullivan v Yan Bingtao, who thrashed him 6-1 last time they met, and other interesting ties, including Xiao Guodong, who beat Masters champion Mark Allen from 3-0 down, v John Higgins, as well as Stephen Maguire, who's trying to get valuable ranking money, up against recent Shoot-Out champion Michael Georgiou, and also Stuart Bingham v Anthony McGill, the former who after being suspended wants a return to form.

Who shall reach the Quarter-Finals?

Last 16

Ronnie O'Sullivan Yan Bingtao Tied at 1-1
Xiao Guodong v John Higgins Tied at 1-1
Shaun Murphy v Jack Lisowski Murphy leads 3-0
Stephen Maguire v Michael Georgiou Never played before

Ronnie didnt do a lot wrong though. he lost 6-1, the frame he lost made a century, and Bingtao didnt give him a chance after that, totally outplayed Ronnie. Ronnie said it was like playng Higgins, Hendry or Hunter at their best against him.

And Bingtao also thrashed Higgins 6-2 at the same tournament.

This is a different match so hopefully Ron comes out the winner.

I'd say 55/45 in Ronnie's favour, mainly because its short format.

The short format is the reason i made it 50/50. There's not much leeway if eithrr player wins the first couple of frames so it narrows the odds for me. If it was best of 19 i'd make Ronnie 60/40.

Agreed. Perversely (or maybe because I have no choice) I’m getting into the BO7s. Seen a couple of great matches in this format recently.

Ah, yes. The "Post Shoot Out" effect, where anything seems long.

I should use that technique with women.

Hopefully he does his best effort to be whitewashed <ok>

I think Baddie wanted the opposite to happen.
