So AGAIN Allen only scores one after failing to land on a colour AGAIN. Plays safe.
Allen leads this frame 18-0.

Allen misses a mid distance red, but leaves nothing easy on for Xiao.
However, a great long red from Xiao gives him his first opportunity of the decider.

This is a decent chance now for the chinaman with the blue and pink now in the open.
And only one red in a safe position.

Hahahah indeed he did.
Hendry was scandalized at how Xiao went around that match winning break, saying he wouldn't have done it like that - but he still won.

THat is why Allen isn’t a top player, the odd week when he plays high level snooker, like the masters, mixed with tournament after tournament of mediocre stuff

Hendry's been ripping Xiao to shreds all match. Earlier he said Xiao looked to timid and didn't seem up for the game, which I thought was abit harsh and also incorrect.

That's Hendry for you. He thinks if you're not ranked in the top-16, you might as well retire from the game.

What have the crowds been like today?
They were a bit poor at Preston last year, if I remember correctly.

In Hendry's defence, he was bang on with his assessment of the shot selection. He's one of the greatest break builders of all time so when he speaks probably best to listen to him about it.

Just noticed this.
That would have been the spell check on my poxy Tablet.
I'm always mistyping on my phone too. Which is really annoying, because I can touch type on a proper keyboard.

John 2-nil up against Carter.
Allen losing out puts his Crucible spot in jeopardy. It would be the first time the Masters champion has not been seeded for the Crucible if this happens.
