Well wrong or not, I'm with Cloud on this one: happy we get a ranking event that isnt 128 format.

I don't care all that much in this tournament's case though. Rather this be ranking than the Shootout.
It is open to all players. Tell me who's been barred from it?
If somebody isn't in this tournament it's because they haven't been good enough and have failed to meet the qualification criteria.
My thoughts exactly Cloud. It open to all of them.
You both make a good point.
But The Masters is also open to any player that meets the criteria.
Perhaps I should have said "any tournament in which the full field isn't involved."
I see what you're saying and you have a point. Personally, I'm glad we get the odd tournament that bucks the 128 draw norm.
Oh believe me, so am I! I love limited fields like this.
Thw Champion of Champions is one of my favourite tournaments of the year for the same reason. I'd love a Top 8, two-session matches tournament.
(Sorry for all the quotes but they're a ball ache to delete on the phone)

Though I don't feel as strongly about this as the Shootout, I don't like it's ranking status.
I don't care enough to argue it.

Milkins has been abysmal. He has a very defeatist demeanour

I'd never say you're wrong, it's just a different opinion!
It's only your opinion that's wrong, not you.
(Just kidding!)

Well, this match has gone entirely as predicted.
Should've put the Gould match on.

The match is good. Gould leading 2:1 and just potted a long red. Oh, is there another match at the same time?

Milkins attitude is even worst than Carter's.
Carter often puts up a fight at least.

Impossible to determine anything about Ronnie's game from that. He may as well have been playing a pelican for all the resistance Milkins gave him.

It was a practice session for Ronnie, so just that 1 match.

O'Sullivan vs Milkins must be the most one sided match up in snooker history. Milkins has won 7 frames out of 55.

Is it odd that I kind of missed Jimmy White bungling shots at the mid-session?
