He's currently playing in a final right now. The group 4 final.

I think last time he beat Higgins confortably in a Best of 11 was in Shanghai 2009, thnik he beat him 6-2.
I also agree Higgins has had some luck in the past when facing Ronnie, so this makes for a change.

has all the luck (deserves it for a change after all bad luck vs Higgins in the past) and Higgins below par
Uhhh
i think Higgins playing rubbish has more to do with it than Ronnie having luck

wtf folks
why not play all the semis tomorrow and play the final on saturday
and have rest on sunday for the players to fly over to shanghai
the scheduling is soooo bad
it doesnt make sense to play semis on seperate days, especially in a bo11 format

Ronnie getting lucky with that blue and the red sticking out from John's shot but his form isn't the same as it was previously vs Robertson. Missed a few sitters in the earlier frames when he could've blitzed like his usual style.
That 80 break was good in the 3rd frame though.

Ronnie won't lose to anyone left in the tournament.
Murphy is his lovely lady. And with respect, Hamilton has a dead back.
Brecel MIGHT beat him. And that's the most likely. The might.

This is why I think whoever wins the International Championship will never win the CoC and whoever wins the Shanghai Masters won't win the NI open straight after. The tournaments are just too close and people will want a break to peak for the UK.
I think having this many tournaments back to back may stop players from throwing in peak performances.

Horse racing on Saturday means they can only play 1 session Live on ITV.

I think its because ITV are showing some programme in the afternoon, thats why they wont show live snooker...
but yes its ridiculous to have two semis played over two days and in the evening...

you just have to play and win or lose.
you cant plan to peak for a event Robbo tried that in 2011 WC and lost first round to Trump.
