The thing is both Selby, Higgins or whoever will have known the schedule beforehand. They made a conscious decision to enter these events knowing how difficult it could be for them.
The question I have is did they enter the tournaments with the intention of winning them all or did they think (and hope?) they would lose early somewhere and therefore the scheduling would become a non-issue?
How can a player enter an event and think "oh losing early here might help me"?
Wild is right when he says Hearn needs to adress this issue. If a player competing here won this and pulled out of Shanghai, he shouldn't be fined.
Hearn won't.
If asked, he'd blabber on about players going back to work, then go back to sucking up to Phil Taylor and Anthony Joshua with his son.

If this goes 5-5, Brecel has won his last 9 final frame deciders since losing 10-9 to Fu

Didnt Dott say afterwards that Selby bored him to death?

Has Selby ever lost a frame where his opponent required a snooker. I cannot ever recall that happening
