What a final. What a story.
Yeah how many players could have done that? Not many.

I cannot believe I've witnessed Mark Williams win a third world title.
I said before the tournament he must be one of the favourites. But I didn't EXPECT him to win.
bucking hell I'm buzzing.

He won this final despite missing so many sitters, failing to play any proper split and even his long game wasn't there. And you felt like Higgins played out of his skin in this final session. Thats tells you how good MJW is. And how good he must have been in his prime when he wasn't making those silly errors.

Yes, and if he’d listened to certain people like Steve Davis, who said when Mark was struggling that it was just age and no technical coaching could solve it, then he would still be a two-time World Champion. But Mark had the guts to ignore these people.
So called “experts” who say certain things can’t be done should get out of the way of those that are doing them!

To all those idiots who discounted Williams and raved about Higgins: Williams in his prime was every bit as good as Higgins. He is not a choker. He is one of the best players ever.

Thought Williams was done a few years ago. Unreal what he's achieved this season.
