If Ronnie's been paying attention to this match he'll know he needs to step it up.

He's on the practice table as we speak.

Acting on an anonymous phone call, the police raid a house to arrest a suspected murderer. They don't know what he looks like but they know his name is John and that he is inside the house. The police bust in on a carpenter, a lorry driver, a mechanic and a fireman all playing poker. Without hesitation or communication of any kind, they immediately arrest the fireman. How do they know they've got their man?

Same pattern as earlier match. Nothing to lose so plays freely. Expected really.

Why he always starts to playy well when he gets behind.
GP 2008 vs Higgins he pulled back to 7-8 after being well behind.
Same this year vs Hawkins.

even if Murphy plays his best tmorrow but Ronnie also plays his best, there's only one winner there...Ron.
Ronnie hasn't demonstrated that he has his 'best' in the closet so far in this tournament.
Better peak tomorrow than the rounds before. Given that he should have been put vs Akani but in the rest of the matches he was never in real trouble.
Neil is a perfect example. Peaked way too early and paid the price.

Roy walker would've made a great commentator.
I've heard him on the commentary box for the Worlds qualifiers and he actually did a pretty good job.

yes sometimes we are too harsh on Ronnie's performances...
apart from the Akani match when he played awful most of it, the rest of the tournament he has played decent, brilliant at times.
Yes not his A game like at the English Open, but in Shanghai he also didnt play his A game and managed to winm thrashing Trump in the Final. More of the same tomorrow I'm hoping.

Yeah your right the akani match was probably the worst he's been solid in general. Ruthless in the balls which won him his last 2 world titles.
