Allen scoring the heaviest, yet 3 frames behind.
Selby been capitalising on every mistake he makes, especially poor safety.

Not a grind either. Selby went 3-1 in an hour.

Talked about Golf?
Or did he say a Mark Selby special?

Selby 7-3 ahead...
another one sided match
We didnt deserve 2 semis plus a Final being one sided given the rare long formats these days....

Lunch will be served by 12.15.
What'll end first? My lunch, or this match?

When this match reaches the MSI it might be 10-3 Selby and therefore a win...
boring last few days on one of the biggest tournaments of the season.

There's been a lot of one-sided matches lately.
Ding vs Wilson.
Ronnie vs Wilson.
And now this. Even when you remove Wilson, the result is the same.
Fair play, anybody would've lost pretty handily to Ronnie in Barnsley.
But where's the good finals, man? Seriously. Hope Coventry is better.
At least we've seen a high standard of play from the players who has won.

This frame finally looks like a more traditional Mark Selby frame.

That happened with Mark Allen last year. He got to Coventry by winning the tournament a day or so before the CoC.

Could it be because a lot of the players now no longer have much experience of the longer format?

Allen can't get anything right atm...

Selby certainly the man who has enjoyed the most experience lately.
Allen? Not even half of it.

I wondered that.
Not sure. If you keep winning frames, it shouldn't matter the length of the match.
Saying that, obviously there's a world of difference between knocking in a few centuries and winning a best of 7, and winning a two session best of 19. The concentration, match stamina and self-belief need to be there.

It must be a bit of a pain for Robertson. Not knowing if he's got to go to Coventry on Thursday or not.

At least he plays on Thursday. Would be far worse if he played tomorrow or Tuesday.

Nothing to do with match length. Selby is a better player than Allen. It's as simple as that.

This will be their most one sided match.
Allen won a 4-1 match they had, but all of their Best of 11s were 6-5.

These camera angles are so deceptive. I thought the black was blocking the whole pocket.

Eurosport don't have the best variety of camera angles. The majority of times, we're looking from above the table.

This isn't Eurosport cameras though? They just "borrow" the Chinese CCTV coverage I think.
The ES cameras are on the Home Nations, German Masters and PTCs I reckon.

Yeah, no that's true.
At the Home Nations they send in their own cameras. This, I'm guessing, is Chinese telly.
