Probably win the whole tournament now.
Not even the shoegate will save him this time, this being in China and all...
Wouldndt even be surprised if Bingtao knocked him out.

It's absolutely empty lol.
Barry Hearn must be delighted to have such a crowd-puller and fan-favourite as his number 1 player.

It's has nowt to do with that and everything to do with poor promotion of the event / ticket prices as we've discussed previously.
You would think by now that they would have worked out how to do this in China? They should give tickets away to companies for their employees, encourage future fans...
It's almost like they don't give a rubbish about the attendance at the games, because all the money is from the TV rights. Meanwhile, as it's beamed around the world, it looks terrible.

I thought China would pay people to be there just so it would look good on TV. It's supposed to be the third biggest ranking event and still the crowds are worse than at the Gibraltar Open.

Exactly - part of the PR spend. I'm surprised because the concept of losing face is a big deal in China. Here the organisers are losing face in front of millions.

This is a vey interesting match, Bingtao definately capable of beating him so Ronnie needs to play well I think.

Ronnie will have to be on his game today.
This is the 3rd biggest ranker of the season so Ronnie should definately aim to go far on this one. But has to get past this tricky young opponent first.

We could have another Higgins v Ronnie showdown, this time the Quarter-Finals. Long way to go before that can happen though.

i have a feeling it wont. The schedule is so packed. Next week CoC. If Ronnie goes far he will be tired for next week. And he loves the CoC.
