McGill will be fine. He doesn't idolize Higgins like Ronnie does

Anyway, well done Ryan Day - now level with Cliff and DT on ranking wins (among others)
The Indian Open which Higgins won this season also has a very similar format... only the Final is Best of 9.
I agree a ranking event should always have a final with at least 2 sessions.

Will Ryan Day ever win a proper ranking event? Discuss.

Aunt in law. They were not related. Just two people who fell in love. It's a non-story, always was.

So, was it is an uncle through blood's former wife?

From the best player never to win a ranking title to best player never to win a proper ranking title
Are the home nation events proper ranking titles?
The German masters?
Poor old Gibraltar. It was a bit of a poor man's event really.

Oh yeah. I mean, I don't want to diss the PTCs.
They're just minor rankers, is all.
Will Ryan Day win one with a multi-session final? That was more my point.

Less variance in a multi session final so easier to win

fair to say rankers like this or the Riga Masters are tailor-made for the journeymen. I'm glad for Ryan though. He's a good player and deserved to win a ranker. And now he's won 2.

The Indian Open too.
Yes Higgins won it but it's also very similar to this, no multi-session final and only short matches.
