Was Bingham considered one of the four or five players who could win The Crucible?

I know he got a nice kiss but why hold your hand up to apologise for luck after potting a great red? The kiss was always a possibility.
There's too much of that rubbish in the game. Players should take credit for their good play.

Just gentlemanly to apologise for fortuitous play.

Graeme talking to himself. Isn't that a sign of madness?

I just asked myself the same question, and I reassured me that it's nothing to worry about.

I'm always out this weekend.
The only GM final I've seen in it's entirety was Gould Vs Brecek.

I think there's a limit. You don't see players apologising for landing on a red after splitting the pack, even though there's always luck involved there, because they've played a good shot. I don't think Graeme's kiss was worth apologising for because stuff like that happens all the time.

There's been some great finals in last few years. This, sadly, is a bit of a damp squib.

I agree with you on this. Absolutely no need to apologise for canoning the green.

I wanted Willo to win, but not this way. Hope Dott gets a frame or 2 before it ends.

Less apologising and more potting would be nice.

Again, how was that unfortunate for Dott? He landed close to the cushion because he overhit it slightly, and the cannon went wrong because he didn't catch it quite right.
Not hitting the shot perfectly isn't anything to do with luck. And to be honest it's an insult to the players that so much is made of luck as if it's an actual cosmic force that imposes its will on reality.
