Looks like 5:3 Wilson now. Whats the odds we'll never see Ursenbacher on the big stage again if he loses this match?

Used a lighter on his tip at one point.

Yea not good advertisement for the sport that a semi finalst and a top 16 player thinks hes got no chance.

Sponsors wont be quing at the door with that endoursement.

Given the way things are shaping up at the moment, I'd say Kyren Wilson will be the new Hendry and Judd Trump will be the new Jimmy White.

Kyren is definately a player capable of beating Ronnie in a final like this.

He has that killer instinct you know... cant forget how after Ronnie fired 3 sucessive tons he was just so cool in making a frame winning break in the decider... not many players could have done that after Ronnie threw a barrage of big breaks at him.

Having said all this, a Best of 7 match is way diferent to a Best of 17 final.

So Ants thinks he has no chance of beating Ronnie?

I dont know if that will relax him or make his chances be far worse...

Should've kept that to himself.

Ronnie 2 nil up.

If Ants isnt careful this could easily be a 6-0 or 6-1 win for Ronnie.

Re: English Open Day Six

Ronnie actually hasnt lost a ranking event semi-final for over 5 years!

His last came at the 2012 Welsh Open at the hands of Selby.

He seems to play cracking snooker in the semis and then play rubbish in Finals these days...

Wilson definitely has bottle. When he won Shanghai he also made an one visit break in the decider after trump made a comeback and had all the momentum on his side.

But nevertheless a player of Ronnies calibre shouldnt lose a final to Wilson.

This is a huge chance to win a ranker and Ronnie knows it.

Interesting stat. Pre 2012 he usually struggled in the semis but played well in the finals.
