I'll make another analogy. Judd Trump is in many ways the new Jimmy White:

- he has immense natural ability and he's a terrific potter;
- he's left handed and has tremendous cue power;
- just like Jimmy, he doesn't have the best cue ball control, but he recovers with good pots;
- he reached and lost a World Final in his early 20's;
- he's starting to part ways with his hair, just like Jimmy.

All that is left for him now is to reach 5 world finals in a row and loose them all. I'm wondering who's gonna be his Stephen Hendry ?! :chin:

I should mention however that he's not a humble man like Jimmy.

Nice to see Ronnie doing well here! I watched his match yesterday evening as well as the end of the match against Higgins tonight.

Maybe Ronnie isn't finished with competing at the professional level just yet :-) :john:

I was saying that at the Masters in January.

I was having a go at ACLT about 3 years ago, as he said Ronnie would never get to another final.

He's not finished. No matter how desperate this forum are to prove that he is.

No way I can see Lisowski winning this match.

Some of his misses have been quite spectacular.

Him & Judd are mates I think and they are playing like it

Switzerland become the 20th nation to have a ranking event Quarter-Finalist.

Alexander Ursenbacher is the 196th player to reach a ranking QF.

Good red to get in and good response in this frame, to be fair to him.

I just feel he's got more silly misses in him than Judd.

Sorry a bit late, but I'm so pleased that Ronnie came back from one down with two to play against Higgins. :party: It just seems that Ronnie V John Higgins matches are going on forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever... :party:

Lisowski, is undoubtedly very talented but he just can’t do it when it really matters, Steve peters should give him a hand

reminds me a little bit of Maguire even though Lisowski is probably the poor mans Maguire, given that Maguire at least has won titles.
