Murphy's single win is the German Masters encounter that he won on the last black. Ronnie's other 4 wins include a Grand prix semi, and of course two Worlds meetings.

its amazing really how little they have actually played against each other with Murphy now established as a top player for 12 years

Thing is with Murphy he has to be on top form to compete with anyone.


he has a one dimensional game similar to Hendry but Stephen was better at it and could stay in longer and clear the table or make 80+ from a long pot. Shaun Breaks down too often on 50 and against Ronnie or top players thats nowhere near good enough.

its amazing to think Mark Williams will be inside the top 16 at the end of the season having not qualified for the Championship and Anthny McGill that was a seed thank to the rubbish out wont be in the top 16.

Peak hendry was the only player who could go toe to toe and beat peak O'Sullivan by outscoring him in those longer matches. (And vice versa).

Great work lads.Have enjoyed reading yere posts for a couple of years.Thought i'd join the discussion and banter.

Looking forward to Ronnie and Murphy this evening.Seems to beca bit of needle vetween the two.Could be fireworks.On and off the table!
