Carrington went from sublime to ridiculous so quickly. Forget the centuries, winning the frames in one visit was all that mattered.

He can hardly string pots together now.

And Liang.. his twitchy technique is really letting him down.

Yeah, I'm sticking with it to the bitter end, even though I've got to catch a 6AM train to Birmingham tomorrow.

Got a feeling they might go for O'Brien & Gilbert's record too.........

Too many players like Carrington are scared of failure. It just feels like he isn't giving it his absolute everything incase he loses and doesn't have an excuse. Look like you want to be there man, come on

Believe it or not but Hallett when Liang missed that final black when the score was 6-5 or something. called the black ball pockets TIGHT. And now he wasn't much surprised how this black with the rest went in! What a legend this chap is!

In one of those long winded arguments about whether snooker is a sport or not, a commentator said it was not because the definition of a sport demanded that a sport required specialised footwear.

Snooker has come of age!

What a long day, Crucible then straight to Leicester vs Atletico.

Had to leave Trump vs Rory at 4-3, but I see Rory continued his good play to lead 5-4. Judd was cruising to start with, seemed too comfortable. After mid session Rory eased himself in, Judd was too careless and his level dropped considerably.

Rory surprisingly good paced around the table, not slow at all, can't see him knocking out Judd but it would be a phenomenal story if he did.

That's the thing eurosport are bad for they always jump to a players defence and make apologies for them.
