Probably the best resource for this is:
http://www.snooker.org/res/index.asp?te ... eason=2016Above the 'line' at 64th place is current safety.
And names in green or yellow are also currently safe.
But, as-it-stands, set to be gone (some notable names!):

Not Poomjaeng!
He's got quite a few tough players in his section as well.

I think Cahill and Hill have shown promise and I hope we see the again in the future.
There are about 24 places then available for new players, we already know some of these:
World Amateur + World U21
Euro Amateur + Euro U21
Ebsa play-offs x 2
Asian Champion + u21 champion
12 from q school
This leaves only about 4 places for national and other nominees.

He hasn't won many matches this year hopefully money starts dropping off next season.

Update:
Jamie Burnett, obviously seems to have retired. So, as it stands is gone from the Tour.
But, yesterday saw Fraser Patrick and Paul Davison losing - so they too will be dropping-off.
I can see Fraser Patrick entering Q-School. Not sure about Davison. He's been on-and-off the Tour frequently - and at 45-years-old, he may feel now is the right time to 'hang up his cue'...

Hamza Akbar gone too. I think he wasn't that bad, unlucky with tough draws and visa issues. At least he beat Bingham at the Shoot-Out.

Gareth Allen is the latest name to fall.
I see that Rod Lawler has now appeared on the list - due to an amateur (Peter Lines) moving into one of the one-year list positions.

This is D-day for Jimmy White - although, he'll probably get an Invitational Tour Card...
But nevertheless, this could be his last ever match as a professional snooker player!
Other players in danger today are the Brazilian pair (Igor and Santos), plus James Cahill and Michael Wild.
Also, there's a huge match between Jamie Cope and Eden Sharav - effectively playing for their Tour future!

Jimmy White is obviously the biggest name casualty. Jamie Cope and James Cahill are also gone.
Eden Sharav has moved out of the danger zone, dislodging Allan Taylor in the one-year-rankings.
And Noppon Saengkham has now appeared on the danger list.
All the names in italics finish their matches today, so the dropping-off-list will be a lot clearer by tonight.

Noppon Saengkham
Dechawat Poomjaeng

Rod Lawler
Ken Doherty

Hopefully Igor gets a wild card, there wasn't an Americas nomination this season but surely there will be one now both Brazilians are off.
Former Rookie of the Year Ian Burns lost the battle of the Ians to Ian Preece, looks like it will be costly for him and he will also drop off.

Burns is already on No 65 and outside the top 8 of the 1-year list. Couldn't see that coming a few months ago.

He had his chance playing Ian Preece.
Almost certain now who's dropping off with players needing to reach the Crucible to change it.

Jason Weston is also out, having won only three matches (one of them on the Shoot-Out) in two years makes him the least good UK-based player.

As Matt from ProSnookerBlog wrote earlier on Twitter, Burns' last hope is to see Muir qualify to the Crucible and push Donaldson (who has a new 2-years card) on 65th. In that case, Burns goes 8th in the 1-year list.

If Ian Burns goes, I'm giving up on snooker forever.
Why does the tour only consist of 64 players rather than 128 anyway? Seems really nonsensical.

'J' is clearly a bad first initial to have as a snooker pro. Judd and J-Hig excepted.
