It's when Barry mounts his opponent from behind and gives them a good oooomph. Like a dog, hence 'beast mode'.
But surely a dog is just a civilised and effeminate wolf? Don't you need to be non-domesticated to qualify as a beast?

Thanks. That sounds plausible.

£12m for next years tour. 20% year on year rise. No individual sport has had such a rise. Tennis had a 10% rise this year for instance. Darts had a 15% rise. Revenue hitting £25m a year is a remarkable number. The players have got it all now. Now they need to commit.
No more entry fees, which will save all players a minimum £2,500 a year.
Next year the start of the Challenge Tour, probably with an initial £200,000 up for grabs and tour cards.
Hi mate.
Is there a video or transcript of the presser anywhere?
Around 1h 20m in of today's afternoon session.
Thanks mate. I'll dig it out later.

In fairness, trying to imagine Barry as a beast of any sort just isn't working. I'm not sure who coined the term 'beast mode', he's too nice a fellow.

It's a bit weird then if he's at yours while you're naked.

Higgins, Maguire and Selby still in the tournament at this stage. On paper not a lot has changed since 2007.

If that means that the 2008 winner will have a great year in 2018 I'd definitely agree with that.

They'll all be Chinese, according to the BBC.

Nice to see Maguire saying "shot" when Barry potted that long red.

Kind of like how last year Graeme Dott won.
