Dubs have done us proud the last seven years.

I've been to nearly 20 All Ireland hurling finals including Galway's losses in 01,05,12 draw and replay and 15.Id like to see the tribesmen win Liam McCarthy.

All Ireland hurling final day is my favourite day of the year.

I'm Conamara originally where they only play football, only got into hurling when I moved to the city where they play both sports. Our hurlers are well overdue an All-Ireland now, it's been almost 30 years. Footballers finally seem to be putting together a good team again, we've had nothing pretty much since the 2001 All-Ireland.

The wife is from Kerry, so at least I can jump on that bandwagon when Galway aren't going well, which is very often!

I like this manager O Donoghue.Goes about his business in a quiet, steely manner.

It's going to be a great championship this year.

Any one of Tipp,Kilkenny,Clare,Waterford and Galway are capable of bringing home the Liam McCarthy Cup.Whoever wins it will have earned it,thats for sure.

I would have included Wexford in that too, but we'll have to see how they react to Daveyfitzgate. I thought they were excellent against Kilkenny and they had their moments against Tipp too.
