Ding
This hurts because he was in with a great chance first but missed a black off the spot.

That wasn't the worst.
The worst was how many bucking chances he wasted in frame 10
he missed chance after chance.
Still, well done Fu.
Hope he beats Judd tomorrow.

Ding choked tbh. after being so clutch under pressure vs higgins and the superb clearance in the 4th frame today i thought he will win it. but fu showed great play especially in the last frame. the way he shrugged off first the ronnie loss at the uk by winning the scottish open and now the day loss by reaching another final is quite remarkeable.
he is a late bloomer but boy he is delivering now big time.

trump will have a serious problem if he loses another final tomorrow. and to lose a 4th ranking final in a season has to be a record or close to it (though the numbers of tourneys increased lately but in the 90s and early 20s there were as many tournaments as now)

I start to believe Fu can go all the way in Sheffield...
They both missed a few, especially Ding, but it was a high quality match. Can't wait for the final!

6-5 to Fu, good 90-odd break to win the match but Ding had a good chance first that he didn't make the most of. Ding will be disappointed but a few times in the second half-session Fu got his rubbish together when he really needed to.

Yeah Ding should have never let it go to a decider. An entertaining match with that clearance by Ding being the highlight.
