It's the first final with players within the top 4, but once again we have a player aged over 40.

Whoever loses won't have long to wait for the chance of revenge as they are scheduled to face each other in the first match in the championship league group on Monday lunchtime.

I,ve been pretty good at predictions.
I predict that Judd Trump will beat Bingo today and become The Welsh Open champ 2017.

I want Bingo to win because well... never really liked Judd. A bit better character wise than he was a few years ago, but still not enough for me to want him over Bingham. That would only be the case if he was playing someone like Selby or Higgins.
But despite all this, I think he'll win this one. He won't be taking Bingham lightly like in the past, and Bingo has been suspect in this tournament, whereas Trump been solid most of his matches. Should have gone out to Hawkins, but all champions need some sort of luck to win a tournament and he had his there I think.

By my calculations, I've seen 37 frames since I arrived. A possible 17 remain.

Sick of Bingham reaching the late stages of tournaments without facing a top 16 player
