Scott Donaldson forces a decider against Mark Davis.
Another young prospect who has a great season, so far.

I wish I could be there.
Maflin ended Yan's dream for a title (4-1). Donaldson has a good lead on his decider against Mavis.
Meanwhile, it seems that the third frame of the Milkins v Mei match started ages ago and the score still 26-36.

Mavis played well vs Ronnie. End of. Some loose shots from Ronnie but Mavis deserved the win fully. He wasnt upbeat in his punditry duty in the afternoon and give Mavis full credit. Said he didnt do much wrong, his head went a little bit when he thought how he let him back but afterwards he knew that he didnt do much wrong.
Todays match vs Scott wasnt on TV so we can judge how it went.
It is a lottery with the bo7 format.

Frustratingly Ronnie keeps losing to players who shouldn't even be in the same room as him.
Agree the Bo7s are a lottery.

So, the day tomorrow starts with the youngsters' battle (Zhou v Donaldson) and then is the cracking match between Trump and Hawkins.

They are not fit to tie his shoelaces, that's why.

The punditry work has completely destroyed Ronnies mind. He should get a grip and try to improve his poor form instead of sitting hours next to White and that clown Murray, watching and commentating on some journeymen matches.

your trying to come up with excuses as to why hes not winning but look through history hes never been a player that completely dominates
between 2009 and 2012 he did not win a single ranking tournament or the Masters and he wasent a pundit then.
Ronnie is not a winning machine he is a natural talent that enjoys other things your lucky with the amount of success hes had considering the turmoil his life has been.

People who say Sullivan has underachieved are talking nonsense. Given his mental problems and turmoil throughout his life, it's remarkable that he won even one world title - even if he is the most naturally talented player of all-time.
Sullivan's achievements are impressive by any standards, but extraordinary given the context.

TR is absolutely spot on though, even if in his career he's not been as dominant as Hendry or Davis, what possible good can come from punditry hey?
No good at all! Just keeps his mind elsewhere instead of focusing on the main task at hand.
Its not THE only excuse of course, the main one I think is he doesn't cope well with good leads nowadays period.
But punditry at the moment is just a no no if he wants to be 100% focused on winning a tournament. I'ts no coincidence he played by far his best Snooker this season at the UK Champs when he wasn't doing any punditry bullocks.
