6-2 down and I could see Ali winning 9-2 or 9-3.
I still expect Ali to win, but hope Hamilton gets at least 6 frames.
Carter will be glad to get out of that 5-3 rather than 6-2.
6-2 is a dangerous lead to have, a false lead to be precise.

Been out with missus for once in a good while,i saw the first 4 frames though.
Ants Still in with a chance, but i,m sure Ali will pull away and be crowned The German Masters champ for the 2nd time + add another bit o silverware to the 4 he already has,as of this evening.
Ali,s not one of my fav players, but if he really does pull it off and wins,i certainly won,t be disappointed.

The Thing theme is the best for me from the Carpenter movies. I love Assault on 13th Precint theme as well.

Hamilton is still in the match, but as Andre mentioned, he has to play better in the beginning of the evening session.
2-6 down would be too much, I think.

Welcome to the Forum!
Also hoping he wins it, but needs a fast start, 3 of the first 4 frames would be ideal.
On a side note, your ID can be said about most if not all of us here.

you need to start every session as if its 0-0 so its better if it is close at 6-2 many times players look over their shoulder and before you know it the score is 7-5 and under pressure.

That's nonsense Wild and I for one never agreed with that.
I'd rather my favourite player be 6-2 up than only 5-3 up. I know at 6-2 he may see it as an advantage he needs to protect, but at the same time it also gives him more of a cushion in case things start to go wrong.
The bigger the advantage the more chances you get of winning a match.

you can agree or disagree thats your right but i always felt more nervous if my fave was 6-2 up than at 4-4 that's just fact from my point of view.

Any player who takes their foot of the gas at any point in the final is an idiot in my opinion. Don't care if it's 6-2 or 8-0.

Calling an idiot is a bit harsh... many a big lead has been overturned and not because the leading player bottled it or took his foot off the gas, but because his opponent started playing superb stuff.
I see the 2004 Masters Final as an example of that.

When Hamilton's great breakbuilding not working, he finds it hard to battle his way back into it. He has a good safety game, but there's no doubt breakbuilding's his strongest point.

5-4 Hamilton has had some great pressure moments in the last couple of seasons.
