It's not quite as bad as Clive's 'This is the biggest victory of Michael Holt's career' when he beat O'Sullivan 4-3 in the Grand Prix.

Both players struggling with not being the underdog in a big match like this.

Who do you want to win tonight, Sir?
Don't much mind.
They're both nice guys, and neither are likely to win tomorrow.

Is there a reason why so many snooker players enjoy golf? I'm genuinely curious.

I think it's clear from this match so far that Perry would have no chance against Ronnie tommorow. Hawkins might do.

Cos they have an affinity for hitting small balls with sticks, perhaps.

Someone said here that, taking nothing away from Barry's win at the Crucible against Ronnie, the Masters is such a diferent tournament to that... Ronnie's own backyard if you will, it's a very diferent propspect facing him here as opposed to the Worlds.
Perry wont stand much of a chance, Hawkins might make things a bit interesting but gotta be honest, there's no way Ronnie will let it slip a 7th Masters title this week.

Perry very twitchy tonight... Hawkins the much better player, even not playing his best.

Imagine what he'd be like in the final against Ronnie if he got there.
