Selby is always so edgy in first round matches of big tournaments, probably more so than any top player.
Credit to him for digging in and scrapping to win those. He usually gets stronger and stronger from there.

André
Completely off topic but do you think that Roger has a chance against Berdych on Friday?
It was not that good today.
I find him slow in these moves and his forehand does not go fast enough.
No ?

Didn't watch today but post-match he said he felt tired even though he only played 3 sets due to the fact he isn't used to play 5 set matches for 9 months now.
Against Berdych he'll have to play really well to win I reckon, but if he loses it's not a shock, in fact Berdych might even go favourite for that encounter. Federer needs time to adjust again.

A bad safety from Willo, leaves Selbs a mid range red, misses, leaves a difficult cut back,But Willo misses as well.
Safety battle emerges.
Willo gettin a bit o the run o the ball atm, flukes a snooker bhind the brown.

But I think he will raise his level of play.
Maybe he will not win but there will be match.
After all it's roger federer and he's capable of everything.

If he loses I'm hoping he loses in 4 or 5, 3 set loss would be disappoiting.

MJW pretty much blew his chance in that last frame... should have won it and put the pressure back on Selby. Can't see him winning it really.

It can also depend on berdych.
He is capable of the best but also the worst.
If he starts to make many direct faults it's all good for Roger.
On the other hand if he is on fire with his power it can make 3 zero sets for the Czech.
Wait and see...

Once agan you think everything has to do with Ronnie
First, MJW is my 2nd favourite player, so naturally I want him to win here. Secondly, just like everytime Ronnie plays Hendry-fan wants him to lose, I can say I share almost the same sentiments regarding Selby.
Thirdly Ronnie has beaten Selby in 2 Finals here out of 3, so definately I have faith in Ronnie.

Guilty
However - I would also relish a Ronnie/Selby final. Chance for him to get revenge for the UK.
It's a duality. Two opposing ideas can be true at the same time.

It seems the only way to get to Selby is to have a good run o the ball against him, like Willows had in this match.
