Oh good. I look forward to hearing more 'witty' comments from Mark Allen on Twitter.

Was thinking about that, since they met so recently at the NI Open... but he'll likely have to face Day next round, a tall order for Jimmy.

Ronnie v Selt up next on TV table.
Last and only time they played (2 CL matches excluded) was the 2014 UK, and Ron hammered him 6-0 with a 147!
Would be nice if he got another here, but probably the prize money is too low for him

Indeed, just go to 2:26:50 where he's complaining to the lovely ref/bird about how slow Keogan is. What a runt!

You guys all still remember that all time classic joke about Selt? I think vodkadiet was the one starting it after Ronnie demolished Selt 6:0 in the UK.
With Selt being the best ever, incredible aura and genius, this that.

No.
124, he fouled with the cue ball going in off after potting black.

What's the prize for a 147 here? it's not too high I reckon is it?
Probably not high enough for Ron to try or make one.

Yeah. And funnily enough just a week after we started making fun he probably played the best snooker of his career, reaching the Lisbon open final and beating Judd and Barry Hawkins along the way

This is a good response from Selt though, after watching Ronnie score and him not potting a single ball until then.

I got an autograph book where the only autograph is Matthew Selt.
I started a new book, but only try to get people's autographs I didn't previously get. So far, Matthew Selt was the only person I walked past whom I hadn't previously got. I did see Kyren Wilson, but wasn't quick enough finding my pen.
More than a year, it's been all but empty apart from Selty's autograph.
