Ronnie looks well up for this tournament, but hopes won't be too high just yet... at the English Open he lost very early v Wakelin...

funilly enough both could meet again in the 3rd round here..

Good to see Ronnie putting on a show, but playing like that against the lower ranked players isn't always the best indication for the rest of the tournament.

There was a fairly sizable crowd in for a day one event like this. Was a bit surprised honestly.

Higgins and Ronnie were superb, as was Luca.

Jimmy missed a tricky cut on the green in the last frame to possibly win the match from there.. Allen won it on the colours.

Now 3-2 ahead still.
