ROS looks very beatable today. And Williams knows it. It's not the Ronnie O'Sullivan who kept destroying him so easily in the past.

To be fair, barring one of the most dodgy attempts at a plant you'll ever see, MJW could have beaten him at the Masters earlier in the year.

There were a lot of important matches that were really close and Williams could have easily won. Their battles at the Crucible in 06 and 10 for example and that Masters semifinal in 2010.

Ronnie really does not play well at all. But we can not know anything for the future.

I'm not reassured if you want to know.

Thats true but back then MJW was playing really well. He had this great period from 2010-2011. And in 2006, he was still somewhat close to his prime. His late prime. He also won the China Open back then in the decider against Higgins.

Mark Williams was a wonderful player in his prime, it's baffling how he went off the boil so suddenly and without return.

Jamie Jones is doing well, apparently.

That was a very clever safety from Ronnie. As was the one beforehand from Mark.

He never had that attitude and hunger of a Hendry. When he won his second world title, he probably lessen his practice time and motivation went down. Still strange though how rapidly his level decreased.

I should be surprised that Virgo and Taylor didn't even consider it, but I'm not.

Williams is awful these days.

Ronnie's safety is far better now than it was earlier in the season. Even if he isn't making the big breaks, he can at least scrap it out now.
