Murphy isn't even playing that well, missed plenty of long pots, not many big breaks. It's just Luca is playing absolutely rubbish.
6-1 or 6-2 incoming.

Luca Brecel plays as if he's down at his local club. Has a very casual demeanour. Reminds me of Tony Drago. If Luca slowed down a little he might be a more consistent player but it's hard to change your potting tempo.

Luca's safety game has already improved.
His main weakness in his game is is cue ball control. If he can sort that out he'll become a top player very soon.

Murphy is a disaster waiting to happen this tournament. If he makes the semis, I can see a 6-0 in favour of Selby/Higgins.

He's scoring like me, 12 - 1 - 15 - etc. Laughably bad. Is he even above 80% pot success?

I thought the same, very amateurish. Still, Higgins might still win this frame.

Luca 4-1 down, doubt he can win this match now, unless he can string some big breaks together to win 2 or 3 frames in quick fire mode.

This is why Luca will never be a top-player. He can be so so bad on occasions.
He will never get in the top-16, mark my words. And I had such high hopes for him a couple of years ago.

Higgins was very negative in that safety exchange and it could cost him

Destined to be a journeyman unless something changes drastically in the mental department.
