This is dire. Supposed kicks or not, Williams has missed some balls.

Great win for him
I was fearing another Mags comeback like in 2013, but glad it didn't happen this time.

I'm glad Luca won, but in all honesty Maguire did give Luca chance after chance...

If Ronnie's watching this, which I doubt, he'll be thinking tomorrow is another practice session.

Getting sick of Highfield and these negative nothing-y safety shots. He's played them all match.

If its Highfield ROS should play left handed all the time to make it somewhat a competitive match.

I think it's about time Ronnie makes another maxi. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets one during this tournament.

Luca Brecel reaches his second UK Quarter Final.
in 2012 he lost 6-5 to Shaun Murphy
Guess who he plays tomorrow?

I highly doubt Williams would play like this against Ron. He'd probably play at least at the level he did against Walden.
But with Highfield obviously. Well, this is his normal level. Probably even above his normal level.

Ronnie will most likely inspire MJW to play well if they do meet.
If Highfield comes thorugh, Ronnie like TR says should consider play left handed all match.

Highfield seems to be a decent breakbuilder, but his tactical play is beneath par.

Back in the day you'd have bet your house on MJW winning that frame.
A master of scrappy frames in his prime.

Yes. Prime MJW would have been someone who knows how to win those scrappy frames against Selby

They better just shut up. Even MJW in that "Driving Mr Davis" thing said the only thing that annoys him in life is listening to clueless comms.

I'm a bit confused, to be honest.

Very scrappy, especially the 8th frame. MJW has been really poor.

I was joking Snucar.
Ronnie should treat him with respect, but in all honesty he'll probably win by a considerable margin again.
If MJW wins here, I think >>Ron will inspire him to play much better.

I'm gonna admit I want Highfield to win so Ronnie has an easy match.
MJW gets very ambitious everytime he plays Ronnie.
