Turning point ?

:chin:

Could be if Trump can get level. Can see him edging this in a decider

I did say earlier if he wins this he'll win 6-5.

However if he ends up on the losing side I can see Lines winning 6-2 or 6-3.

In addition, he's not going to be scared of the winning line. Defeated Selby from 4-0 in the International Championship a couple of years ago. This would be a big win on the TV for him though

The interesting point has been made that a lot of the top seeds that skipped Northern Ireland to 'prepare' for this tournament (Robbo, Selby, Trump, Bingham), are the same seeds that have struggled badly / are going out here.

Suddenly with Trump out Ronnie's biggest threat to reach the Final is Ding (who hasnt beaten him in ages), MJW and maybe Fu.

Not getting carried away though, anything can happen if he has a bad day...

A Selby v Higgins meeting would be interesting in the other half.

O'Sullivan v Selby or Higgins would be the best possible final now imo.

He's in the bottom half of the draw... But yes looks to be cueing superb too. Dangerous for any player when hitting top form.

Can't forget their brilliant match at the German Masters when he beat Ron on the final black.

I think of those it'd probably be Fu who's the most likely to beat him. Ronnie has run into trouble a few times this season though so we'll have to wait and see

Yes , great great match.

Ronnie playing his best snooker of the year 2015 during this german masters.

After that it was really not very good.

In the end it could be even a journeyman who plays the match of his life and beats him. Like O'Brien Hawkins.

However. Given, how heavily Ronnie's scoring atm I have to say it'd be quite disappointing if he didn't reach the final.
