Selby had a chance but it's 5-3.

It was a cracking red that Allen got in with at the start of the frame.
If anyone can come back from 5-3, it'll be Selbs.

He did from 5-2 down v Allen last week, but lost the decider.

Selby pulls one back.
I think if he forced the decider he'll win this time.

Allen's safety and match play has been really impressive tonight.

Allen's choked and I suppose, he'll lose the match also now.

Great break from Selby under pressure. Allen has bottled it in that frame since he really should have won.
But last week he did win the decider... let's see what happens here.

Well, that was an all or nothing shot from Allen. If he clears from here, I'll take everything back lol.

Allen would need some bottle here given what's happened. Was a cracking red to middle.

Hahaha. Love it when Selby comes back only to lose it in the decider anyway.

Good job from Allen; well played. You'd have to call him a bogey player for Selby at this point.

Tremendous. Incredible from Mark Allen. That thin red he played with the rest to split all the other reds was amazing.

Allen
Another Ronnie - Allen match, funny how players who haven't met for a while suddenly seem to run into each other.

Not many players could have made that pressure break after totally choking the frame before. That was truly excellent.

Yeah it really was
And now TR another Ronnie v Allen match...
They spent 6 years without crossing path in competitions, and now in the space of a month they meet twice.

Some players are simply better when the match is tight, twice Allen made great clearances to win frames he shouldn't have.
I thought it was all over when he potted two reds simultaneously.

I Really dont know where this Choker Allen myth has come from?
Yes hes lost matches from well in front who hasent Ronnie, Hendry, Davis etc has had their moments as has Allen but Allen has dished up some real pressure clearances and Matches over a extended period i guess people focus on Negatives more than Positives.
