Selby made perfect safety, perfect break, perfect start to the match, so yeah Clive is right.

It is nice to see Selby playing like a world champion lately. It's impressive that he's able to win with his B game so often, but his A game is much nicer to watch. He is such a great and clinical break-builder when he's on it.

Remember that time Andy Spark spent several pages of a thread insisting a shot was perfect, when a player had missed.

Without meaning to sound like I'm milking this, or being a wimp, the effect of what happened in Croydon today has really hit home now I'm back at my flat.
Just been talking to somebody who gets trams to work early in the morning. It could've easily been them.
Sat in my living room with Selby and Allen, but for once snooker doesn't seem like the most important thing in the world to me.

Everton pulls a Joe Johnson, by mixing up the term 'Game' and 'Frame'.

Allen's safety has been particularly good today so far.

That left corner pocket is unforgiving today.
Classy clearance from Allen.

Wonderful steal by Allen.
Great match so far, with great safety, big breaks and 1 frame steal so far when Selby looked set to win.

I just hope every little thing isn't going to be politicised anymore, now the elections over.
Good chance for Selby now.

That's dedication.
I went to bed, assuming the result would be on the news the next day.

2-2 it is then.
Maybe we 'll have another Best of 11 decider between these 2. Seems to be the norm when they play such a match.

My prediction is that if Selby goes through, he beats Ronnie. If Allen goes through, he loses to Ronnie.
