Every time I see Trump v Ding, i'm reminded of the one-way needle between them. Trump has an issue with Ding, and I don't know why.
It was only in the Spring at the Worlds where Trump was smack-talking Ding in the build up to their match, before going on to get hammered by him. Similar to when he smack-talked ROS in the buildup to the 2013 World semis, before getting hammered there too.
I wouldn't complain if Ding won his semi and this tournament, but we'll see.

I don't know if there's any needle between Judd and DIng, but i do remember those comments he made prior to their Worlds match last season, and that obviously must have inspired Ding even more to beat him, just like Ronnie.
I think Trump will beat Ding this time, but I hope Ding proves me wrong and reaches the Final to obviously win the whole thing.

That Ding vs Judd match will be a cracker.
Can Judd make three ranking finals in a row?

Yes, it should be a great game. And I'm glad it's happening over 17 frames, a proper match.

So, how did the Murphy Judd match end. My recording went down halway through the decider.
By reading I see it was a black ball finish, and Murphy messed up. What happened exactly?

Did Murphy have a shot on the black that he botched?

Yeah, he missed a shot that he would normally expect to get and stuck it up for Trump.

Really?
I was just about to check the scores. I wasn't expecting that. Judd played alright yesterday.
Still, a long way to go. They're not best of 17s any more.

In work so can't see it, can see he's 4-0 up at the MSI. Has he scored heavy and dominated or is Trump getting chances in frames?

Smells like 5-0 now. But the tournament had a lot of comebacks, wouldn't be too surprised with another one.
Well, I would be a little in this particular match.

There were some tactical battles in first two frames, in latter two Ding had 64 and 93 breaks that helped a lot.

Jeez, it's 6-0 now. Trump failed to score a point for four frames in a row.

There's only room for one good Trump in this world and it's clearly Donald.

Talking of which, what was up with Murphy's break-off shots yesterday?

Trump grabs last two in the morning session. We'll have at least three frames in the afternoon.
