Selt moaning on about Selby being on table 3 on Twitter.
Think that Selby cares, or is it just more Selt butt licking?

See MJW has lost yet again
His form has been really really bad for him lately, see no way back.
Always loved this tournament, proper format, not Best of 7 crap, plus Semis being Best of 17 helps.

I meant the tournament in general, not
this match.
As TR said, he never seems to play his best game over there.
His last semi in China was in 2009 when he won the SHanghai Masters.

Ronnie open up with a wonderful break of 138
Never in trouble in the break, wonderful cue ball control.

Oh, I see. I don't think he'll win this tournament, either.
I thought you meant he'll lose today.

Should I book Friday off work? That way I can watch the entire semi-final on Friday. I won't see much this week outside the final, and fancy sitting and watching a rare long match nowadays.

I notice the forum is getting busier.
I was a bit lonely yesterday morning watching Selby.

Maybe Ronnie something to do with it?
But to be fair I wasn't home all day yesterday so couldnt watch it. I'll post more in the afternoon the following days.

I think people are playing too much into this whole 'Ronnie hates China' thing, tbh. I reckon it's purely coincidental that he hasn't done better there. Yes, he's had a few notable blow-ups over the years, but he's had them in other events as well like the UK and the WC.

Let's hope this event proves you're right.
Plus, Ronnie has won in China before.

Ronnie leading 3-1, playing well.
Xiao had a chance though to level at 2-2 but missed it.

Ronnie's draw until Quarters is kind. He'll face Maflin next, and then either Wells or Holt. Holt did win their recent Shanhai match, but Ronnie was well rusty there.
