Monday 10th ~ Sunday 16th of October at EventCity, Manchester

It's Quarter-Finals day, and with so many of the top players already being knocked out in the Last 32 and Last 16, including Ronnie O'Sullivan, Neil Robertson, Mark Allen, Ding Junhui, the highest ranked player left is Stuart Bingham, as well as recent European Masters Champion Judd Trump.

But some surprise names as well, including the man who beat Ronnie O'Sullivan, Chris Wakelin, and Anthony Hamilton who appears to have rediscovered some good form.

Who shall win their Quarter-Final match and earn a place in the Semis and only two matches away from the title?

DRAW

Quarter-Finals

Barry Hawkins v Ricky Walden Walden leads 11-9
John Higgins v Judd Trump Higgins leads 13-8
-------------------------------------------------------------
Liang Wenbo v Anthony Hamilton Never played before
Chris Wakelin v Stuart Bingham Never played before

Sadly yes.

Don't understand it since the first 2 are separate.

I think Higgins will beat Trump this time.

John made a good point in his presser. Judd has never beaten Higgins in a format longer than Best of 7. I think Higgins might get revenge after the EM Quarters loss.

Hawkins and Walden are similar type players. Walden has 3 rankers, Hawkins 2. Both play similar, Walden a bit more fluent when amongst them, but at their best Beast Hawkins has proved to beat Robbo and Ronnie. Only at the Crucible, sadly.

I was talking about the buffet cart on the train. What's that got to do with the snooker? I'm not in a match until tomorrow.

ES trying to be like the BBC and showing how certain shots from the Quarter-Final are done.

Jimmy did well there. :hatoff:

Just what we need. More BBC style analysis.

To be fair that analysis was fine, it shows how certain difficult shots are done. No harm in that at all.

Much better than cringeworthy features wouldn't you agree?

Have fun Mr SF! Tell us where you're sitting if you can. Was that the UK last year you were in the front row?
