Maguire's 3rd career maximum - and (according to CueTracker) the 123rd official...getting nearer the 147th 147!
The prize money is 'only' £5,000, but I'm not sure if he'll pocket it - as his match is in the wild-card round, and maybe doesn't count as being in the tournament 'proper'?

a 147 in qualifying next week would be £11,000

I've managed not to say anything!
Strife has made ZERO posts since May 4th after the Worlds ended - 4 rankers have come-and-gone since - yet now he's made 19 posts in 12 minutes since Ronnie chalked his cue!

Ronnie match rusty, as expected.
Still, there's time to recover, but a 4-1 deficit would prove very difficult.
His safety play has been the worst part of his game so far, breakbuilding not great either.

Safety will come with time. It's the break building that's worrying me so far.

It's like the 7 dwarfs on here!
Dan-cat = Doc
SnookerFan = Happy
masterdoctorgenius = Grumpy (No! Ronnie's just missed a 10-foot pot down the rail - frame over!)
Cloud Strife = sleepy (he's slept through the first 4 ranking events!)

The tournament organisers, sponsors and TV execs will be cursing their luck if Ronnie goes out so early.
