Bit of a surprise seeing Robbo knocked out first round, especially given his great h2h v Day. I'll watch a bit of that later to see how badly he struggled.

Mags looking on Fire here!
He needs a good tournament to get his good form back, plus climb up the rankings. A player of his quality shouldn't be outside the Top 16.

Pressure on this pink. Would be a body blow for Smurf.
It is a body blow. Nice pot from Mags.

Yeah, he'd have been absolutely fuming had he lost that frame. A few trademark cuebangs would have been seen and heard, no doubt.

OMG!,Smurph knocks in a 57,Mags counterattacks and is on a break of 62,with only the pink n black left, but he then misses an easy peasy pink of the spot, leaves Smurph a gettable pot to the yellow bag in which he misses,he then leaves Mags a tricky long pink in which he gets.
2-0 to Mags.

Mags looking good for 3-0. Smurph needs a frame quickly, moreso because he's hardly potted a ball yet except for his one mini-break.

Had Murphy won that 2nd frame he would have really wind Mags up.
3-0 it is then.

Just had a look and there hasn't been one all season.
Hopefully we'll get some more contests with the season kicking into gear properly and big tournaments coming up. I'm more than happy to run my fair share of contests, no problem.

4-0 then.
That 2nd frame was the key turning point. Murphy only has himself to blame.
