Really wasted opportunity that the IBSF World U21s overlap with the PHC events.
For instance, the Thai girls could have entered the Ladies event...along with Evans, On Yee and Jans.
Belgium and Germany border each other too...for the sake of just a few days!

Agree, though Simon Lichtenberg played in the U21 and is now in the last 128 here.
Watched White and DeLu, I liked the camera angle but what a fashion faux pas from Yu, wearing a checked shirt.

Will there be normal streaming of this, or is this going to be like this the whole time (players playing in something resembling closet, with stupid camera angle that lenghtens the table etc...)

It's World Snooker. Assume the least sensible decision at all times.

Jimmy's now beaten Rod Lawler 4-1 to reach the last 16....the diet seems to be working!
In that last 16, it's the battle of the White's. Jimmy White v Michael White.
If Jimmy's performance timeline is accurate on Wiki, then he'll be playing to reach his first quarter-final since 2003/04!!!

And Eurosport shows this also, oh god no. Hate the camera angle.

You know what's great about this? I haven't been able to watch a lick of this. I realized the livesport went away because it was mainly BBC. Eurosport doesn't give a rubbish less about Australia or the US.

A tournament that he went on to win of course.
According to CueTracker he reached the quarter-final of one of the European Tour events in 2012 and a couple more in 2010. That being said, this is now officially a full ranking event.

That is true - I should have specified ranking events. It's hard to believe it's been so long...and he's still got a very difficult game against Michael white! But, this shorter frame format gives him a decent chance, although 4 matches in a day (to win it) will test the stamina of all the players, physically and mentally!

I agree! He won't - I expect Michael White will get the better of him!
An eye-catching result just coming in there...Kyren Wilson is out, whitewashed by Jack Lisowski!
