Again best of 7? Ugh, shoot out, Welsh Open, Championship League 5-6-7-winners, Euro Tour, World Grand Prix and soon after PTC finals. A bit depressing how many of these 'low frame count' tournaments are there in a row.

In the spirit of 1985, it'll become a best of one, only the black on the table type game. Whoever pots the black, gets to win the match and boast about it for 30 years.

I wonder how much coverage the China Open will get. Probably have half the final missing, knowing Eurosport.

Would love if Ebdon beat Robbo again, he has a great record against him.
But can't see it happening this time. One thing that favours Ebdon though is the short format.

Robbo tries a double on the last red, misses it and the red goes over a pocket,Ebdon pots it,then pots a blue, tries a double on the yellow, misses it and gives Robbo an easy yellow.
1-0 To Robbo.

A beuatiful long red from Ebdon gets him in first in this 2nd frame.
Oh dear, but only makes 9 from it,as he missses an easy peasy black to continue the break.
