Higgins should win this one, has a good record against Bingham, and if he plays like he did v Wenbo, has every chance.
Plus I'll be rooting for him, I want Higgins to make Semis so that he meets either Selby or Ronnie, either of them classic matches usually.

Holy Crap. The only time Bingham beat Higgins in a bigger match was in 1999. So not even in the 21st century.
And it'll probably stay as it is. Higgins just looking too strong atm. Can't see Bingham beating him.

Ronnie's possible route to the final: Williams - Selby - Higgins - Robbo. It doesn't get much tougher than this.

Or Trump which wouldn't be any easier.
If he does win this title it will be one of his finest tournaments wins, especially having so few competitive matches under his belt this season.

Williams only one who could be replaced with someone tougher these days. It's not 2003 anymore.
Edit: Scratch that, looks like all the players that aren't debatably tougher are top 8 seeds currently.

This might be a bit premature but still: I think a Ronnie v Higgins match would be very different to their previous meetings / usual matches. Higgins is struggling with his safety game and is very attacking at the moment. I would expect a very open match with very little safeties being played and both really going for it.

That is why the Masters is so great you have to beat 4 top players to win it there are no easy routes.
That was in reply to Overdrives previous post

Seems like ages since we last saw Bingham play in this tournament, almost a week in fact!
Anyway, if Higgins plays anything like he did against Wenbo (MJW
) he'll win this one confortably, but we all know it's a diferent match, diferent day, and he too can easily play marmite.
I expect a close match here, but won't be surprised if it isn't.

There's always one player who plays on Sunday, then you don't see them again to Friday night.
